Privacy Policy

How we handle the data that flows through a call-handling engine - from account details to the recordings and transcripts of real conversations.

This policy explains what Eazetx Private Limited collects when you use the EAZETX service, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Because EAZETX handles phone calls on behalf of businesses, it covers two kinds of people: the customers who use our service, and the callers whose calls the service answers.

Who this covers

Account holders are the businesses and individuals who sign up for EAZETX. Callers are the people who phone a line handled by the engine. Account holders act as the controller of their callers' data; EAZETX processes that data on their behalf to deliver the service.

What we collect

  • Account information you provide at sign-up, such as your name, work email, company and the call types you want handled.
  • Call recordings and transcripts produced when the engine answers or places a call, along with the intent detected and the outcome reached.
  • Details captured during a call that are needed to complete it, such as a booking time, an order, or an account reference.
  • Service and technical data generated as the engine runs, used to keep the service reliable and secure.

How we use it

We use this data to answer and route calls, resolve requests, book appointments, take orders, qualify enquiries and hand calls to a person with context. We also use it to operate, secure and improve the service. We do not sell it.

Storage and retention

Recordings, transcripts and captured details are retained according to the settings an account holder configures, rather than kept indefinitely. When a retention period ends, the associated data is removed. Account holders can request the deletion of data tied to their account.

Protection

Customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is scoped to the people and systems that need it to run the service, and context passed during a human handoff is protected in the same way.

Sharing

We share data only where it is needed to deliver the service - for example, passing a call's context to the human agent an account holder escalates to - or where we are legally required to. We do not pass customer data to third parties for their own use.

Your choices

Account holders can access, correct and request deletion of their data, and configure how long call data is retained. Callers who want their data addressed should contact the business whose line they called, which controls that data; we will support that business in responding.
